Following the production today of our 200th blog, we are celebrating with a good single malt scotch.
A little over a year ago, we would have never expect to have been as active as we have producing blogs. We also would like to thank our small group contributors too. Should there be those of you who would wish to contribute, we welcome enquiries.
We trust our readers have found the site thought provoking and to those who have viewed us regularly, we thank you for your interest.

It is with deep regret and sadness that we must advise that Jeremy J.O. Harwood, a partner at Blank Rome, a member of the New York maritime bar and a personal friend passed away late Thursday night.
We knew Jeremy professionally, as a consultant to him, and personally. He was a brilliant lawyer, a most charming and gracious gentleman and a single malt scotch enthusiast.
Our thoughts are with Mary Ann, his wife, and his two teenage children.
We will miss him.

Following the production of 100 blogs since February 25th, we decided to celebrate, as we took a break this past week to regenerate. When we started the site, when had no idea we would be as active as we have producing blogs.
We trust you have found the site thought provoking and to those who have viewed us regularly, we thank you for your interest.

I would like to encourage readers to comment and transform the blog into a more interactive discussion of issues. I expect a more interactive site will benefit all.
Please do not hesitate to leave a comment or begin a discussion. Thank you in advance for your participation.

The Greenshields Agri group (“Greenshields Agri” or “GAL”) has launched a new website. In the past three years, Greenshields Agri has developed from a concept agribusiness to a profitable operating business supported by a sophisticated farming group and a farm real estate management concern. Greenshields Agri owns and farms 2,800 acres of farmland in the northern grain belt of the UK, an area which is ideally suited for grain production, achieving some of the highest wheat yields in the world.
GAL was established in 2010 as a registered UK farming company. GAL continues to expand organically and, having proven the concept, additional investment sources are sought to increase capitalisation and market penetration. A focused business approach is adopted in respect of the land in the production of grains and oilseeds crops. Planned investment in strategic agricultural businesses such as grain stores, grain processing, grain distribution & transportation aim to complement farming investments and enhance returns. In addition there are further potential revenue streams from renewable energy , agricultural property development and holiday lets.
